We will still get defensive MVPs when there isn't a deserving player on offense. That's the only time we've ever had them.

Brady threw three TDs. While I agree he wasn't "the reason they won" relative to the defensive performance he was deserving in the same way Eli was deserving in 2007. He's the name player who played well.

For defensive guys to win you need to have a situation where the offense low keys sucks and nobody really has good stats.
