R44
Jets signed Virginia defensive end Brennan Schmidt, who I always respected as a player....He really has been a model of consistency for UVa. for a while. I have a ton of respect for Schmidt as a player, but I'm just not sure if he's "just" a very good college player, or player that can do well in the NFL. I guess we'll find out soon enough. http://virginiasports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/schmidt_brennan00.html Virginia's "other DE", by the way, is a player to watch down line -- Athletic and tough Chris Long, a 2005 true sophomore and son of NFL HoF Howie Long. If Chris Long continues to progress, as he has, he'll be a star. http://virginiasports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/long_chris01.html Houston RB & Syracuse TE signed? http://draftdaddy.com/features/2006_AFC_UDFA.cfm *
Stonehands
He looks like the typical 3-4 defensive end. 6'3" and almost 290 lbs, another Rick Lyle type.
