faba
Any one getting the idea that Mangini is surrounding himsrlf with players he knows from the past- the latest two Poteat and Hamilton. Kassell the linebacker another example. Sort of similar to Bill Parcells grabbing players he knows from the past-Opinions?
SeniorFlaJet
A lot of coaches do that. The players are usually familiar with their system so it makes the transition easier. In the article about Poteat, mangini told him just before the game that it was what he was used to just the names were different and he went out and played almost a whole half. Preston Howley III
I was surprised when I heard the name Bobby Hamilton. He's been in the league 13 years. I hope he has something left in the tank.

He had a good year last season. If nothing else he will provide leadership and can taunt everyone with his championships. That is always fun!
