After starting two games in place of Pete Kendall at left guard, Katnik probably could have been picked up by another team had he been released earlier in the week. I think he wore Richard Todd's number and he played against the Eagles in the preseason, when he had been signed to the team about a day. He may have been a big part of our thrilling comeback against the Eagles, that left us in a three way tie for yet another AFC East preseason title.
