pjam76 Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 I wanted the Jets to draft VY.. Yeah he might do things a little differently and who knows how his career will wind up. But most experts looked at some stupid test, they looked at "wow look how all these other players performed in practice and in the stupid combine." Therefore the experts knew Young was years away from even being a starter. Where are those experts now? They never come out and eat crow. The Merrill Hodges, Salisbury's the list goes on. Former NFL players that really barely started in their careers. Like I said, who knows how VY or any of last years QBs will turn out, but the way he beat Michigan in the rose bowl and then USC in the championship game showed that the kid has that "it" factor that isn't always measured on paper.
