faba
Who would have thought a coach would drive season ticket sales?
124
Exactly. Anyone who buys tickets based on a coach, well, at least a coach like Billy Donovan who has proven nothing in the pros, is an idiot.
GM
Who would have thought a coach would drive season ticket sales? The Florida Gators fans are rabid down here. If the Magic hired the Gator water boy, ticket sales would go up.
Jetsfan80
Exactly. Anyone who buys tickets based on a coach, well, at least a coach like Billy Donovan who has proven nothing in the pros, is an idiot. People bought tickets when Spurrier was named head coach of the Redskins. If he had been hired by a Florida pro team (Jaguars, Dolphins or Bucs), the hype would have been even greater. Gators fans make up a very significant portion of Magic fans. So you would expect that a team on the rise like Orlando would get a boost in attendance from Donovan's hire.
