Didnt stand out much, BUT, I remember looking at my roster a couple of times to check the number, and it was him. There were two 75s in camp, him and Fitch. i thought Goddard got more of a look, but maybe he played himself out of a job and Turner moved up. Guess we'll have to keep an eye on him tonite. What I think happens is that when a player is called in they are probably told in most cases that they will be signed to the PS. But what if when a player is told that he will be signed to the PS, he says I would rather see if i can sign with another team. Does he become what can be called a free agent??? In fact a team can take a player off our PS but he has to remain on that team roster all season. The minimum salary for a practice squad player is $4,700 per week, including the playoff weeks. In addition, a player under contract to a club as a Practice Squad player is completely free to sign a contract with any NFL club to play on their Active/Inactive list.
