JetNation
Carlos Guillen, Edgar Renteria, Maggs, Pudge, Sheff and Miggy. Now that's a scary lineup. Scott Miller says the Tigers are staring at the best season in Motown since 1984, and it's not just because they have pop, but they are an unselfish bunch. More... Thor99
The Tigers have a good lineup, but a little shady defensively. I'm also of the opinion that thier pitching won't be as good as people think.
Mavrik
I'm pumped for this season. The city's been buzzing for the last few weeks since spring training start. Lot of people are excited about the season. They managed to sell 20,000 season tickets and packages (which they had to cut off) and individual tickets are expected to be gone quick when they go on sale this month. I am concerned about their pitching. It's strong now, but an injury from someone like Rogers or Verlander could put them in trouble. Bullpen also needs a lot of work. We can thank Zumaya (again) for this.
Blackout
the yankees last year showed what a devistating lineup can do but without pitching it's nothing Verlander is a legit ace though
Scott Dierking
Let's see if teh Tigers can start 35-5. That was one of the most unbelievable runs I have witnessed in baseball. The Rockies last year came close.
vanDoug
The Tigers look stacked. I'm catching the M's/Tigers series in Seattle May 30/31 June 1st. Can't wait.
