Green Jets & Ham
The Red Sox were busy today, designating ineffective lefty reliever Alan Embree for assignment and making a couple of minor trades. Embree was 1-4 with a 7.65 ERA in 43 appearances with the Red Sox this season. The move essentially means the end of Embree
AFJF
some whispers that the Sox may make a run at Billy Wagner..he'd be a serious upgrade to their 'pen
Jetfanmack
I wouldn't mind Embree. Couldn't be much worse than Franklin, and he wouldn't cost much.

Embree sucks, but Franklin does not even belong in the big leagues ... dude is pathetic At least Embree is a big league lefty who has SOME SUCCESS in games that matter If he clears waivers I would pick him up and cut Franklin

Jet/BosoxFan
Basically, its Bill Mueller, Kevin Millar to Minnestoa for JC ROMERO (!!!!!) and Joe Mays. Then Joe Mays and Bronson Arroyo to FLA for AJ Burnett and Mike Lowell's $21 million salary. Then Youkilis and Olerud platoon at 1st. And Lowell at 3rd, RSN prays he returns to his pre-2005 form, Tony Grafanino to 2nd, and Whiffy Bellhorn moves to the far left corner of the bench. As my favorite student Rodney ALWAYS says: "Dat's whut's up"
