DaBrick Wall
Good news for teams that want to pursue him in free agency. The Brewers have no chance of negotiating an extension that will keep him from hearing what the Yankees and Dodgers, among others, have to say. DaBrick Wall
Thanks Brian. The Indians didn't want pitchers back. The Yankees weren't going to match what the Brewers gave as far as position players go.
PeterNorth09
The Indians didn't want pitchers back. The Yankees weren't going to match what the Brewers gave as far as position players go. Cashman is very laissez-faire when it comes to pitching. I think he could have gotten CC if he really wanted to but he's still operating under this illusion that Hughes and Kennedy are going to come back and save the season and vindicate him for passing up on Santana in the meantime Ponson and Rasner will hold the fort. Sharrow
I can see it now. The Yankees miss the playoffs this year and then dish out $250 million on Sheets and Sabathia this offseason.

I can see Sabathia, not Sheets. Sabathia-Wang-Joba-Pettitte-Hughes.

Both those players represent somewhat of a risk: Sheets-Durability Sabathia-Weight
