lancemehl Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 A few weeks ago we were arguing over who should start, an efficient smart guy who can't throw for 200 yrds a game or a draft bust that we were hoping would break out. Now we have one of those "Brady, Romo" guys grooming behind a HOF'er. LOL Again, I don't know what to say, I just had to experience it. 3rd and 12 with number 4 under center is a TOTALLY different thing than 3rd and 12 with #10. One can easily get fired to any of five guys for a first down. The other you could bet your life it's a 5 yard dumpoff or a draw. The confidence Favre brings is something I'm not used to.I felt it saturday though,preseason or not. They had us at 7 1/2 wins in vegas before Favre, that's a lock.
