rick34125
The early betting lines have the Jets giving 2.5 points to the Pats this week at the meadowlands. Who would have ever thunk the Jets would be a favorite against the pats this decade. What a dropoff. no doubt if Brady was still playing the Pats would be at least a 2 digit favorite on the road. the meadowlands will be absolutely insane on sunday. 124
That one player is perhaps the best Quarterback of all-time. This isn't like New England lost a really good player (Richard Seymour, Wes Welker), they lost their best player. The best QB, if not player, in the entire NFL. The home team also always gets 3 points so it goes to show you that people still really have New England favored by a half a point. But yes, the stadium should be rocking. Fans, including myself, now know that the Patriots are ready to collapse and fall off the mat for the 2008 season. The Jets have to take advantage and hit them in the mouth and start off the season with a 2-0 record heading into San Diego who also didn't look impressive yesterday. PhinHater
I just heard on the radio that we were favorites. I was shocked honestly. Man I wish I had tickets for Sunday's game...
faba
It is not surprising- Brady is one iof the best QB's in the game obviously-even though some Jet fans do not want to give him credit but I do.
