aec4
what in the hell is Revis going to be worth? Examine the deal first before you call it insane. Keep in mind, a lot of the back end of most big deals are fluff.
DMaynard
what in the hell is Revis going to be worth? Doesn't he have another 4 years on his contract? I think we have more pressing issues.
aec4
Doesn't he have another 4 years on his contract? I think we have more pressing issues. His deal is VERY complicated but I think he will meet the criteria to be able to void it in 4 total
4HCrew
I am not saying this is a pressing issue by any means..just commenting. As for Revis' current deal not sure how many years he has left.

Sperm Edwards
His deal is VERY complicated but I think he will meet the criteria to be able to void it in 4 total I think as a rookie he already reached enough p/t incentives to void the contract after year 4. The Jets can buy back the last 2 years. Year 5 he'd be roughly a $6M cap hit. But that 6th year would be a minimum cap hit of $13M and could be as much as a $17M cap hit (and I don't think we can franchise him beyond that as part of the buy-back, assuming there's even such a thing as a franchise tag in 2013). It wasn't Tannenbaum's shining moment as GM.
