Hey everyone,

Joe Hurley and Rogue's March will be performing at the Suffolk County Firefighter's Emerald Society Benefit on Sat, Oct 1st, in Bayshore, Long Island.

The All-Day event, being held at The Nutty Irishman, begins at noon with Rogue's March hitting the stage at 2pm. Other bands appearing include old friends like Black 47 and Seanchai, as well as The Ruffians and many others. The Benefit is being billed as a halfway-to-St Pat's party, so it should be quite a celebration.

Many thanks to all who came out to Joe's Summer performances in NY at Central Park Summerstage, Joe's Pub, the South St Seaport, and the NYPD Benefit. After spending the 1st half of the summer in England and Sweden, these gigs were wonderful to come home to. As were the Private Living Room concerts - (Thanx again go out to the Lawlers, Plevels, and all of our hosts).

We strongly recommend that you all head down to Joe's Pub on Sun Oct 2nd at 6:30 pm, where Joe's brother-in-arms Ed Rogers and his band The Bedsit Poets will be celebrating their CD release "The Summer That Changed". With Vocals from Ed and Amanda Thorpe, it's a great record, and to make the night even more appealing, The Kennedys will also be playing .
