LAD_Brooklyn
Number 3 will be retired 30 years from now. 1
mrcoops
Fashanu rocking Mangold's #74 - also Olu's college number. Interesting that the Jets haven't semi-retired that number, like they did with #24 (even before Revis went into the HOF), #80 (Chrebet) and #90 (Byrd). Key in #33 - he could become the best Safety to wear that number in Jets' history, or at least the most likeable. 1

jetsons
I like that Allen kept his #0, Davis should have stayed with #22 & Fashanu getting Mangold's #.

MykePM
The Jets hoping for lightning to strike twice by giving Garrett's former #17 to Corley, and letting Fashanu stay with Mangold's #74. Probably not so much by giving #33 to Key.

I love Mangold, but if the Jets never retired Mawae’s #68, I don’t see why they would retire Mangold’s number. And as much as I love Chrebet, I still don’t understand why the #80 has been dormant ever since. Chrebet was the classic underdog story and fan favorite, but I wouldn’t really classify him as a guy who should have his number retired.
Larz
The Jersey really didn’t move the needle for me when they were revealed, but they look great in that graphic. Love the number font
NYDreamer
I don't believe Dallas or the Raiders retire numbers either. You recognize the player for their tremendous contribution but I don't feel it should never be worn again.

After mark sanchez, he’s up there why those 2 great teams couldn’t get to the Super Bowl.
