Aten
Not as insignificant as it sounds. Probably locks Vlad in at guard since Turner is the only guy who can snap if Mangold goes down.
flgreen
Last season when Mangold went down for two plays they brought Slauson in. Would have to assume he can snap the ball

Aten
Last season when Mangold went down for two plays they brought Slauson in. Not by choice. Turner was inactive for the Tampa game. He's a lock for the 45-man roster. Slauson is 50/50 to make the 53-man as the perpetually inactive 8th OL.

Was he supposed to be at the rookie camp? The guy they scheduled then couldn't go and Rex sounded miffed. That's why they are bringin the kid from Hawaii in for a tryout. Not by choice. Turner was inactive for the Tampa game. He's a lock for the 45-man roster. Slauson is 50/50 to make the 53-man as the perpetually inactive 8th OL. I agree, but there is something to Slauson being active over Turner.

#27TheDominator
That speaks volumes. He's OK at center I would think. Does that mean that Feely would be OK at punter? Yes. Turner was injured. That explains that. I'm not sure how that locks Vlad in at G though. He's obviously the favorite, but how does this change anything? They are more likely to cut Slauson and Ducasse, but they have the same number of OL has last year. They cut Faneca and added Ducasse so they are all pertty likely to stay.
