Who do you want at #6? (Jan 14 Edition)

Sarge4Tide

I'd be at least moderately happy if with the 6th pick the Jets drafted....

Mine is simple. Fournette or Garrett. Those are the top two prospects that would be very happy with. Garrett is almost guaranteed to be gone by the 6th pick. Fournette will most likely not be there either, but the odds are considerably higher that he falls out of the top 5.

Otherwise, trade down.

The one wild card, and I would have to let the GM and Jets scouts make this decision- and that is a QB (Watson, Kizer, Trubinsky, Mahomes, whoever). If the Jets feel like they really like one of the QBs and he is there, I cannot argue against pulling the trigger and taking a chance- even though none are considered sure-fire prospects and we have Petty and Hack- both young QBs.

In reality, odds are the Jets sit pat at 6 and if Fournette and Garrett do not fall, they take C.Robinson or the top Safety or CB on their board.

i love cook, he looks like a bigger, faster, more elusive powell.  while the jets are trying to develop qbs, they should throw $$ at LT in FA, get a real rb like cook and start building a real offense.  otherwise i love hooker, you can't teach ball skills and it would be nice to have a true playmaker in the secondary now that revis is on the outs.
