uart Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 It gives our D the one big gaping hole we've had since Pouha went on IR, which may or may not help us out. Certainly helps on defense. If you take out the Carolina game last season he did one hell of a job behind a terrible OLine and had 4 starts without Curtis Martin and the rest with a severley banged up Martin. I give Brooks a hell of a lot credit for going 2-7 with that team and taking out the Carolina game had 2 interceptions (2 mistakes) in the other 7 starts / 1 game played. He has NFL starting expierence and he could've been the #2 here behind Pennington if we hadn't gotten Ramsey to give Clemens a definite 1st year off unless injury. No,you were ridiculed because you thought we could get a 2nd rounder for Bollinger. I like that idea Jerry Porter maybe the change of scenery in a system that utilizes him may jumpstart his career.Why not a 2nd rounder.Im sure we can recoup the pick trading Bollinger.
