LionelRichie
With regard to Ty Law - by all accounts it is coming down to NY around NE. In typical pats fan fashion you will critisize the jets either way - for signing him or for losing him to NE. Here is your opportunity to take a stand - what is your opinion of NE re-signing Law? Do you want him or not? Personally, i think the problem for law is the fact that he turned down the best offer he will get - from the pats last year. now he is trying to save face. Gainzo
I wish Ty the best wherever he ends up. He dug his own grave last year turning down that huge offer from the Pats. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up back with Pats. If the Jets sign him good for them.

Here will be my staunch position. If Law signs with the Jets: The Jets paid a ridiculous amount of money (regardless of the amount) for an over-the-hill, injured CB who will never again be the player he once was. If Law returns to the Pats: Brilliant move by the Pats FO do re-sign Law for an extremely cheap amount of money (regardless of the amount). The Jets completely blew it and now the Pats have an All-Pro CB (who is 100% healthy) for the next 5 years. Seriously, whatever teams signs Law will get a very good CB for the next 2 or 3 years. Law is the real deal.
Garb
I've gone on record several times saying that Ty Law would be a terrific pick-up. He brings a strong work ethic, a savvy, veteran presence in addition to a great talent. Plus, Ty plays his best when people doubt him/he has something to prove. The ONLY downside to this signing COULD be his health. However, if anyone can bounce back 100% from that sort of injury - it would be Ty.

Shadetree
Seriously, whatever teams signs Law will get a very good CB for the next 2 or 3 years. Law is the real deal That's it, in a nutshell. I hope they dont pull an Antoine Winfield here. Dont let him get on that damn plane! Law, Barrett, Strait, Miller, Coleman and the other younger players gives us a secondary with a tremendous upside.
