Yes, it was Belichick’s last game with the Patriots and ended a long-time losing streak to the Pats that we would still be hearing about. Enough said.

He just feels like Becton 2.0 to me. I don’t know much about him but when I hear abnormally large OT that’s where my mind goes.

Love the Bob McGinn draft articles and hate that they are behind a paywall now. Would be grateful if his other draft articles would be shred on this board.

My vote for surprise top 9 pick is Latham or Verse. Really hoping I’m right.

Unless Nabers falls to 10, I’m taking OT at 10 or either after a trade down. It’s the right long-term move given the age of our two starting OTs.

Let’s all pray the board falls this way with two defensive players and only one OT going top 9.

Just really happy that the Pats are not getting any draft picks in return for Belichick.

Randy Mueller was saying on a podcast yesterday that he thinks the Jets will definitely get something, but likely a 5th rounder. He thinks there are teams that will be enamored by his skillset -- particularly teams with an established starter like the Rams, Chiefs and Eagles -- and who believe the Jets are to blame for his lack of success. I'm hoping we can get at least a fourth, like the 49ers got for Lance.

Completely agree. He's a homegrown, ascending player (like Huff) and the team should hold on to and reward those type of players.

I I REALL hope they resign Davis, Huff., Morestead, Zurlein and Hardee.

There’s only so far he can rise beyond the tenth pick with two higher rated OTs and possibly three QBs going top ten. Doesn’t sound like Nabers has much chance right now of falling to ten and Chargers fans swear Bowers isn’t getting past them. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out!

Nabers and Owuze would be interesting, but I just see the much more likely scenario is the Jets taking an OT or trading back to regain an extra second rounder.

And possibly MHJ.
