Jetsfan80
Perhaps this will be where Tiki Barber ends up? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82199169/article/cards-thin-in-backfield-after-losing-rookie-williams-for-season Cards thin in backfield after losing rookie Williams for season NFL.com Published: Aug. 20, 2011 at 05:11 a.m. Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Ryan Williams is out for the season with a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee, coach Ken Whisenhunt said Saturday, according to multiple reports. Williams, the team's second-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, will have surgery early this week but suffered no other damage in the knee, according to the Arizona Republic. The loss of Williams deals a serious blow to the Cardinals' depth at running back. Williams was slated to back up starter Beanie Wells, and the team's confidence in the rookie led them to trade Tim Hightower to the Washington Redskins in late July. Now, the team has only LaRod Stephens-Howling and second-year pro Alfonso Smith on the roster behind Wells. Whisenhunt, who favors a two-back system, said the Cardinals would likely add another running back, according to the team's official site, but it wasn't clear whether it would be just to fill a camp spot or a more veteran player. NFL teams are required to trim their rosters to 80 players on Aug. 30, at which time veteran running backs could be available. Williams was injured during the third quarter when it appeared a Packers' defender landed on his leg as he was tackled. Much of the team gathered around Williams as he was helped onto the cart. Williams, head in his hand, was consoled by several players, including starting running back Beanie Wells. “He’s a good kid, first and foremost,” Wells told azcardinals.com. “He’s going to be a good football player here and guys like him. He’s one of the guys everyone cares about.”

Jetsfan80
Trade them one of ours? What kind of value do you think we could get for LT? You have to think they'd be pretty desperate for a # 2 back considering that their depth chart now reads 1) Beanie Wells, 2) Larod Stephens-Howling. Smashmouth
Not going to lie, I can't wait for Tiki Barber to end up somewhere. It is going to be a fun story to watch despite hating Tiki. I hope he does wind up somewhere and then gets, laid out. Sad on that kid from Arizona a ruptured patella is not good could seriously ruin his career.
