It sucked picking dead last at 12th, and I played by hand wrong and missed out on all the TOP QB's. I should have taken Drew Brees over Calvin Johnson. JetsFanFromQueens Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Sounds about right. I actually picked Sanchez before Josh Freeman. Come week one, Sanchez will be my starter. Freeman had a great season last year, but as Sanchez comes into his own, I feel Freeman will take a step back into reality this year. It's a free league, all for fun. I drafted Sanchez, Greene, Holmes and the Jets defense. It's all on Sanchez though. If Sanchez can BREAK OUT during his 3rd year, having Holmes as his #1 option becomes an added bonus for my fantasy team. Holmes should get his 1,000+ yards and hopefully 8+ TD's.I have question marks in regards to my QB position, but I really like my team. If Sanchez breaks out, this team could become serious contenders.There is no question about it, Shonn Greene is on the verge of having a monster season as our feature back. I'm talking top 5 rusher behind our offensive line. Ryan Mathews was my sleeper pick at RB. I really like this kid. Rushed for 678 yards and 7 TD's as a ROOKIE last year. He only rushed the football 158 times, but the kid had an average yards per carry of 4.3. He can also catch out of the backfield, picking up 22 catches last season. Week 17 of last year? SD finally featured him. 26 rushes, 120 yards and 3 TD's. Chargers won by 5. I absolutely love my trio of WR's in Calvin Johnson, DeSean Jackson and Santonio Holmes. True #1 WR's. Lets not forget about Michael Crabtree either, this kid could be on the verge of having a very nice season as well. He's heading into his 3rd year after a solid season last year, putting up 55 receptions, 741 yards and 6 TD's. Those numbers should all increase as a WR who's coming into his own. The addition of Braylon Edwards could end up doing wonders for Crabtree. It doesn't get much better than Gates at TE.And damn do I love this Jets defense.
