The Jacksonville Jaguars reached agreement with former Dallas Cowboys wide receiverLaurent Robinson on a five-year, $32.5 million deal with $17 million in guarantees, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Robinson stepped in while Miles Austin struggled with a hamstring injury and enjoyed a career season in 2011.

The 26-year-old receiver led the Cowboys in touchdown receptions (11) and had 54 receptions for 858 yards.

The 6-foot-2, 194-pound Robinson was a third-round pick by Atlanta in 2007. He spent two years with the Falcons, then two in St. Louis before joining the Cowboys. Injuries kept him from fulfilling his potential until last season.

Let's hope he is the guy who played well last season and not the one who was ugatz for three previous years.

You are a Jags fan?

I was hoping the Jets would make a play but he basically signed for Marques Colston money for basically 1 year. Not sure if I'd want the Jets to do that...but the Jags had too. They have the worst WR situation in the NFL.
