Thor99 Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Just got back from the midnight show (Yes, I'm a nerd). It clocks in at just about 3 hours, and starts off a little slow. Once they get to the island, there is plenty of action. The CGI, for the most part, was excellent, and there were some pretty funny comedic parts in there as well. I was a little concerned about Jack Black having to pull off a somewhat serious role, but he performed admirably. The spider pit scene is one of the creepiest things I have seen in a long time.
