JohnnyLV
If he's smart he runs the ground and pound, and doesn't let Smith throw the ball. God no. That nonsense ended when loser Rex got fired. We need balance.
Ex-Rex
If he's smart he runs the ground and pound, and doesn't let Smith throw the ball. The Jets ALMOST won a game trying that approach against Miami. But you simply HAVE to throw the ball a little, and Geno doesn't read defenses quickly enough for an NFL QB. You can run read option until the cows come home, but eventually you have to throw the football to score points.
LionelRichie
I hope chan can actually fit a offensive around whatever quarterback we have on opening day, Instead of making a qb fit a certain system.. Like Marty M nd Tony soprano.. I think Geno can benefit from a spread offense like in college! I hope to god they don't run geno out there on opening day. FidelioJet
I hope to god they don't run geno out there on opening day. I just don't see how they can. New regime, no allegiance...and he was the worst starting QB in the league for two years running, he has proven to be a very bad NFL QB - on many levels. Barring an injury there is simply no way he starts the season.
