Seems like a player who will never reach his perceived upside, outside of maybe a couple of plays a year. Way too inconsistent. A liability in pass blocking. A blah run blocker. Same for his hands. Amaro may not be ready to play in line. Kellen Davis is really just a blocking TE. Sudfeld could get his shot, maybe he just never got a fair shake by Rex and Marty? win4ever Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 This is one of the worst TE groups to come out in a long time, so there is nothing left in the draft that is going to be tangibly better than what Cumberland/Sudfeld offer. At this point, I'm fine with Cumberland/Sudfeld as the No. 2 TE, because it's going to be rare for us to be in a 2 TE formation. As backups, I think they are fine.
