pay ivory his money

seems like jets are happy to let key guys go this offseason that are not even looking for big money-pay ivory his 3-4 million and keep him-

seems like jets are always the only team that cant afford to keep their talent

Ivory isn't a "key guy". He's just a guy the fans like.

Ultimately, he seems to have a hard time staying on the field... whether because of injury, or because Bilal JAG Powell is better in the passing game.

We don't need to pay this RB a late-career contract. RB is a young legs position.

Sounds good,  but who are we going to get to play rb in week 17?

RBs are not hard to find.

Jets fans have been duped into thinking so, because they've historically had a hard time finding them... but that's because the Jets have historically had a hard time doing anything. Reality is, RB is not a hard position to fill.

No reason to give a 1-dimensional RB a veteran contract.

I'd rather sign Powell and Alfred Morris than sign Ivory and lose Powell.

Afred Morris is just as limited in the passing game as Ivory, if not moreso.

This is a spread offense. We have no need for 1-dimensional RBs... get guys in here that can blow up in the passing game.

They had him during the perfect time of his career, now let someone else pay him...
