Not one person was screaming for him to be fired 2 weeks ago.

The definition of turning on someone.

Isn't that how it happens? People don't want a replacement until they do. Duh.

Frankly I didn't think much of him last year and didn't have much agreement. It was bound to happen, as one can't ride good fortune forever. In the end, the house always wins.

No duh, not always.  Usually you don't wake up after 2 weeks and ignore the other 18 weeks.

Frankly it's easy to say you didn't care for him much last year but here weren't too many saying this and if they did people would more than likely laughed at them for complaining about a rookie HC taking a 4 win team to 10 wins.

People are suckers for after the fact wins, and often ascribe undue credit as to the causes. It's how we have the return of Ryan Fitzpatrick, and all the fan/media/oblivious HC pressure leading to his return, for example. Not just Fitz, though, but the GM maxing out the cap and drafting players early because of their greater use this year rather than long term, while pointlessly loading up 5 DTs for our DL.

Don't agree.  Fitz for all the good he did last season, shlt he bed with the season in the line.  Adding to it Fitz has an 11 year record of failure.  And while he was the QB of amwinning team for the first time in his career, he wasn't a QB who carried his team to those wins.  Again, he had a hell of a lot more failure on his 6 team resume than success.

Bowles seemed to be a HC in the making.  Had everything you look for in a resume and had high profile, respected football people singing his praises.  And for the most part delivered on that promise.

And true to for for us Jets fans at the first sign of trouble we're now looking to dump out and reset without any idea that anyone else could do better.

But that's just me, there's no way to be sure of anything other than we're a pessimistic, glass half empty fan base that sees what it wants to see.
