They have been replaced on the active roster with a pair of young running backs Khiry Robinson and Brandon Wilds. We have waived WR Jeremy Ross & RB C.J. Spiller and signed WR Darius Jennings to the practice squad. He was waived\injured late in the preseason. With Bryce Petty starting the last four games at QB, the audition for next year seems to be spreading to other positions as well. Start by cutting Revis and Firing Bowles That sure would shake things up, per overthecap.com, it would bump Revis' cap number from $17 million to $25 million, meaning they'd have to cut several other players to get back under the cap. He suffered an ankle injury on Monday night and didn't practice today. Arthur Brown - LB - Jets Jets claimed LB Arthur Brown off waivers from the Jaguars. Brown barely played during his three-month stint in Jacksonville but will have a chance to prove himself with the Jets over the final month. We're his 3rd team since Sept'16 Projected a second-round selection, Brown was ranked as the No. 4 outside linebacker available in the 2013 NFL Draft.[17] He is compared to Daryl Washington, because "neither linebacker has the ideal size for their position, but they compensate with sideline-to-sideline speed".[18] In the 2013 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens picked Brown after their star middle linebacker Ray Lewis retired. Brown underwent hernia surgery during the off-season a few weeks following the draft. Arthur was placed on injured reserve on January 1, 2015.
