At this point the Giants are looking at Saquon Barkley and the Browns will take Allen. 

If Sam Darnold falls in the Jets lap and Macagnan takes Rosen or Mayfield over Darnold, he should lose his job immediately.

People have compared Rosen to Peyton Manning.  Darnold will be just as good if not better.

Mayfield has been compared to Ryan Leaf and Johnny manziel.  Maybe he will be better than those two, but he wont ever be as good as Darnold, Rosen or Allen.

Love Baker ... But the one thing I will say ... Rosen throws a much prettier ball in terms of release, ease and spin.

There's no hidden conspiracy here, it's quite obvious why it appears we want Mayfield. Darnold and Rosen were projected by a lot to go #1 and #2 when we traded up. It would be logical to think we were trading up with the expectation our guy is on the board, most expected and still expect Mayfield to be there. Hence why it seems he's our guy.

People also compare Rosen to Cutler  and compare Mayfield to Brees. I pray we don’t have the option to take Darnold, he’s gotta sit for at least a year and right now he is not as good a qb as Mayfield or Rosen.
