Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday made a desperate plea to New Yorkers to donate blood, dangling as a raffle prize a couple of tickets to a future football game — by the current 0-11 Jets. Hizzoner then followed up the less-than-attractive offer with another odd prize, given the important health issue at stake — a year’s worth of calorie- and sugar-laden Krispy Kreme doughnuts. “That is not approved by the Health Department — but the rest of us would really like that,’’ de Blasio joked to reporters about the d’oh nutty giveaway at a press conference.
