Time to take the training wheels off and pull him before any game gets out of hand. This is not the year to ride and die with him. A 6-2 start means a playoff run.

And your replacement for him is...?

Zach needs to figure out pressure.

Every QB is under pressure on 30-40% of drop backs.

Getting zero production in those scenarios is the biggest problem in Zach’s game.

It invites even more pressure since the defense knows they can’t be hurt.

Flacco....White. they wont run at the 1st sign of pressure.

im not willing to lose the playoffs with the worst QB in the league.

Flacco or White aren't going to win the playoffs with the Jets anymore than Wilson.

Wilson is awful, but these guys are check-down statues. They'll get sacked every other play and despite throwing for a lot of yards the team will not do any better or worse. Plus, benching Zach isn't going to do well for the culture they're trying to build, which if you haven't noticed is working out pretty well.

i disagree.

Flacco had 9 sacks in 154 attempts. when you consider all those drop backs 9 sacks isn't that bad. and he made more throws downfield then Zach. that chart that @T0mShane posted vs Denver had almost all Zachs completions at the LOS or behind it. i was going to say that Zach was a checkdown artist but those throws were designed because he cant stay in the pocket long enough to check down.

Bart Scott said this yesterday and tbh i just turned it on so i dont know who he was talking about but it makes sense for Zach too. once the NFL has tape on you, you better have a plan B. well there is plenty of tape of Zach running at the 1st sign of pressure. and nothing happens when he does that why a pocket passer would be good for us. they wont be afraid to get hit and make a play. they dont call Joe Flacco, "Joe Cool" for nothing.

and the culture is good but when the loses come it will change if Zach is playing this bad. he is the weakest link on this team. we know it. the media knows it. and im sure the locker room knows it.
