HighPitch
so, things have changed? quick question......lets say a mom has 2 kids in high school. lets say she makes 55k. I am looking at the instructions and googling but am I right that in general she is just over the income limit and therefore the kids have ZERO benefit to her tax wise? A few years ago you at least got a 3-4K deduction per kid. Not anymore it seems. Not looking for deep advice just wondering if I am pretty much on the right track with this
PFSIKH
Are exemptions to reduce taxable income not a thing anymore? I was able to claim my kids through four years of college. I guess we timed it right. I would see if you can run it through H&R Block free online service to get an idea, but that sucks..
