No, this is not true.

How many L's can you take in one thread?

How's Izzy doing?

And your basing your statement on what exactly @Joe W. Namath

You make a habit of this, how about less emotion and more facts.

5. Kenny Yeboah, TE, NY Jets

Speaking of former undrafted players, don't sleep on Kenny Yeboah this year. The former Ole Miss star was one of the more notable and underappreciated standouts of the spring for the Jets.

Yeboah received a lot of reps with the first-team offense, sometimes even working ahead of Jeremy Ruckert, and made his snaps count. The highlight of his spring came on a 60-yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers during OTAs in which he burnt the first-team defense up the seam.

The Jets seem to like Yeboah as more of a one-to-one backup to starter Tyler Conklin, with Ruckert working more of a hybrid tight end/H-back role this spring. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues into the summer.

Not only does Yeboah feel like a lock for the 53-man roster, but he has a real chance to carve out a role in the offense this season. The Jets have to be pleased with the progress he's made.

Winner: Kenny Yeboah, TE, NY Jets

One player who saw his standout spring performance fly a little under the radar was tight end Kenny Yeboah, but make no mistake about it — few Jets players were more impressive during OTAs than the former undrafted free agent.

Yeboah was featured heavily in the first-team offense, sometimes even working ahead of assumed No. 2 tight end Jeremy Ruckert. He flashed his big play ability and was one of the most targeted players all spring.

Yeboah has stuck around on the Jets due primarily to his special-teams ability, and not only does he seem like a strong candidate to make the 53-man roster, but he might even be able to find his way into a regular role on the Jets' offense.

I get that people like what his skill set seems to offer and that he's a local kid that was a fan of us his whole life.

But if he was good enough to get snaps and targets he would. Conklin isn't so good that he shouldn't be able to take snaps from him. He wasn't getting targets at OSU and that was looked at as they didn't have to bc of the WRs they had. But here he is going into year 3 and he's done nothing for us.

I think the Ruckert guys need a come to Jesus moment.

Hopefully he turns into something.. I'm pulling for him ... To this point ...

He's been a major disappointment.

I'm curious if Kuntz has improved at all and might get time ???

Jeremy Ruckert

One can only imagine what a frustrating couple of years the past two seasons have been for Jets tight end Jeremy Ruckert.

A Long Island native from Lindenhurst who grew up a New York Jets fan.  Being selected by his childhood team was  a dream come true.  But since being drafted,  Ruckert has been an afterthought on offense through his first two seasons.

After landing with the Jets in the 2022 draft, Ruckert had what essentially amounted to a redshirt season as a rookie.  Despite appearing in nine contests, he managed just 1 reception for 8 yards on two targets for the season.

With hopes of getting more involved in 2023, things didn’t go much better.  Poor quarterback play paired with poor play calling meant Ruckert would manage just 16 receptions for 151 yards in year two.  It’s time to stop allowing Ruckert to play the role of invisible man on offense.

If all goes according to plan and Aaron Rodgers manages to play a full season, it would push offensive coordinator Nate Hackett into the background while Rodgers runs the offense and hopefully sees what Ruckert can bring.

The 6′ 5” 250 Ruckert has the size and hands to be, at the very least, an excellent red zone threat.  Should the Jets choose to maximize what Ruckert brings, they’d give him all of the fullback reps that currently go to Nick Bawden and sprinkle in a few targets out of the backfield.

Whether or not the Jets make an effort to get Jeremy Ruckert the ball remains to be seen, but the more weapons they utilize on offense, the more opposing defenses will have to prepare for.

Maybe Ruckert is taking advantage of TE University! Could only help.
