It ain’t the play calling

Can’t block, can’t catch, can’t run the right routes, can’t hit the right holes. 
 

I’m not saying the play calling is perfect or even good, and the coaching is certainly atrocious.  But this is mostly ab execution problem right now.

I have a huge problem with the play calling.  I think the plays themselves are okay and seem to work at a decent clip if the execution were stepped up a bit.  The timing of the plays is the actual art and I ******* hate it.  I gave them the benefit of the doubt earlier on that they might be doing some "throwaway plays."  That is what we called plays that tipped something to get the D to defend it a certain way.  Then later in the game you go back to it and do something else for a chunk play.  Normally we would tip runs a certain way a few times and then when we knew how the D would cover it we'd try a long hitter.  That was my hope earlier on, but I don't see it.  Maybe the Vikings are just that good.

FWIW chase Daniel killed "The Rodgers offense" of no motion as a thing of the past.  Defenses are too smart and fast these days, if they've seen the play 10 times on tape it has no chance of succeding

Adams said it took him 3 years to get on the same page as rodgers

Duke Manyweather said an oline with new pieces takes 6-10 games to gel

The TE's can't block

Hacketts scripts are all time awful.  Even my son said recently that after the first couple drives of crap they look better

 

The low energy is a saleh thing

If they don't come out with their hair on fire and attack the Bills it will be shocking

Last year, when the OL was blocking well and Hall was getting off every game; it was Yeobah, Bawden, Brownlee and some extra lineman.  All these bum TE's on the sideline.
