Smizzy
Jets | Camp practices to be longer Thu, 27 Jul 2006 18:41:27 -0700 Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini will hold practices that are over two hours in length during training camp which is longer than practices with former head coach Herman Edwards (Kansas City Chiefs). Mangini plans to emphasis agility as a major part of training camp this season and has planned seven two-a-days for the team during training camp. Maxman
This makes sense. There are less two a days but he is getting more out of each practice. Not sure if other teams are increasing practice times but I know reducing the # of 2 a days is happening in a lot of places.

NIGHT STALKER
It's no coincidence that both Mangini and Saban are following in the footsteps of their mentor Belichick with 7 two-a-days.
Sperm Edwards
Well in his defense, Herm used to do more two-a-days because under his watch players could only handle a 45-minute practice before getting winded.
