Redskins | Portis injury could cost him remainder of season

Mon, 13 Nov 2006 06:44:27 -0800

Updating ongoing reports, Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis (hand) will likely miss about a month of action. However, there is a chance he could also miss the remainder of the season. Portis suffered an injury to the fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand, which will require screws to repair. He could have surgery as early as Monday, Nov. 13.

Hail to the Deadskins!

Deadskins once again over-rated by high priced FA over-rated signings... losing Portis doesn't effect anything on the season because they already were going nowhere.

Hey, keep losing Washington! The higher the 2nd round pick for us the better.

At the rate they're going, it'll be like having a late first rounder.

this years redskins remind me a lot of last year's jets. coming off of a good season, high expectations, super bowl talk, new high paid OC, easy training camp, and then laying an absolute egg during the regular season.

at some point the skins are going to turn this season over to campbell. if he is as bad as gibbs alludes to then that 2nd rd pick could be in the top 10.
