ECURB
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2784485 The Chargers continued Thursday to take care of their core players by reaching agreement on a three-year extension with Pro Bowl fullback Lorenzo Neal. Neal, 35, signed a three-year extension worth $5.1 million, making him the highest-paid fullback in the league. Neal was scheduled to be a free agent after the 2007 season. Too bad we cant find a FB like this...
124
Good job by San Diego re-signing Neal. He is the best fullback in the league and it looks like his career will end in San Diego blocking for the best back in the game, part of him being the best back of the game because of Neal. Sperm Edwards
When we had him he was paid a lot for a FB. If I remember correctly, we signed him as a UFA from the Saints & his salary was like $750K. Pretty big money for a blocking-only FB back then; the salary cap was under $50M. We had so much dead space from David Williams & O'Donnell & others, though. Plus we'd just made Mawae & Martin the highest-paid players at their positions in NFL history.
Ghost
That is not a bad signing, he is a big reason why LT has been productive.
