Philadelphia Eagles: Wide receiver and kick returner Bethel Johnson reached agreement on a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his career, Johnson has returned 147 kickoffs for 3,611 yards and two touchdowns. He also has 39 catches for 606 yards and four touchdowns.

Johnson, 28, was a second-round draft choice of New England in 2003. He was traded to New Orleans last year but released before the 2006 season and signed with the Minnesota Vikings in October.

All Bethel wanted to do was be the hero.

I'm going to try and find his comments after the Pats traded him.

Yeah, a whine fest if I remember.

He is a gifted althlete, but does not 'love' the game the way most players do. It is just a job to him.

He'll take on former Olympic hero/2006 pick Jeremy Bloom, who showed nothing after being drafted....Bloom better stay away from the Hollywood B-list crowd and bring his A-game when he comes back, or he'll be going bac to skiing full time :banned:

Eagles should draft Ginn Jr. (if he available) if they really want to Jazz up the KR game.
