JetCane
WHEN THE BILLS HAVE THE BALL The decision to start the season with just two quarterbacks on the roster is coming back to haunt them. When starter J.P. Losman suffered a sprained knee last week, rookie Trent Edwards was forced into action. The Stanford grad has a strong arm and good pocket presence, but the Bills will have to pare down their playbook with Edwards under center. Who is Edwards' backup? Not too imposing Qb opponents on paper.
Earthquake Enyart
They just resigned Craig Nall? Not too imposing Qb opponents on paper. Craig Nall held the clipboard in Green Bay for a few years. He watched Brett Favre and he's ready to go.
#27TheDominator
Trent Edwards was a top prospect that broke his foot and dropped on draft boards. Sound familiar? His biggest drawback is holding the ball too long and taking sacks. That's probably not going to be a problem against the Jets. Don't overlook anybody. One game at a time. Win and move on. Actually Losman held the ball much more than Edwards did in the preseason. We are hopeful with Edwards. He looks like he knows what he is doing. Losman looks lost most of the time.
