NIGHT STALKER
The New Haven Register reports Cowboys assistant head coach Tony Sparano will accept the Dolphins' head coaching job once Dallas' season ends. Sparano has been the favorite for the job all along, but this report raises questions. Sparano flew to Baltimore for an interview with Ravens officials on Saturday, and the Cowboys haven't fulfilled the Rooney Rule by interviewing an African American candidate. That's expected to happen Monday, when Bill Parcells meets with Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. The report could be dead on, but likely won't be confirmed until early next week.
