NY JETS 29
Andrew Bynum who is having his best season as a pro will be sidelined for 8 weeks with a kneecap injury. Can Kobe and the Lakers keep up there winning ways with Bynum out? I think they can. Kobe will put the team on his back and guys like Odom and Kwame Brown will have to step up, but I think they can remain competitive while Bynum is recovering. Blackout
a road trip is a road trip. and without bynum the lakers are more like an east team than a west team lol
faba
The West is tough and without Bynum and the way he has been playing they have to fall off. Kobe will be hogging the ball more.

PeterNorth09
Kobe can score all he wants but Bynum is the glue that holds that team together right now with his low post defense and rebounding.

I know and that's what scares me. Kobe will get his 50 points in losses.

Couldn't agree more. IMO Bynum IS aor rather his improved play IS the reason the Lakers are much more competitive this year. I'm so glad Mitch didn't deal the kid in the off season. NY JETS 29
The Lakers are one game out of having the best record in the West. There 1-1 with Bynum out of the lineup. They will remain competitive while hes sidelined, but remaining in the top 4 of the Western Conference will be a struggle.
