DireJet38
BLAH, screw Leiter, left New York on bad terms last time because he called Minaya a day late to solidify his deal thinking he was a shoe in verteran with the Mets. OBVISOULY, it has been shown this year that the Mets made the right move. This man is a has been, a classic sinking veteran who gets by in the leauge because of his personality and supposive grit. Now Cashman thinks he can come into the AL east in his first start and match up against the best offensive team in baseball? This move makes no sense at all, he's a malcontent poor man's version of big mouth curt schilling. Hate the move, and will hate it even more having to hear this clown during post game interviews. Whoever said Tom Glavine should pipe down. This guy can't even match up against his NL east rival in the Braves, imagaine him getting shelled against the Sox. MasonJet
Signing Leiter shows that every GM does have Cashman by the balls. Or that he's desperate considering he has 4 starters on the DL and putting Tim Redding out there is like putting in a BP pitcher.
Maxman
Leiter was a no brainer. Will he work out? Maybe not. Time will tell. Is he the best option available? Yes. Without a doubt. Tom Glavine in the AL? Please. I will pass on that one.
