MagicBizkit87
How the hell do you not walk Manny Ramirez? Of course Mike Mussina was going to say he wanted to go after him. He's the owner of an 85 mph Fastball. Why the hell would you listen to him?
BP
I was thinking the exact same thing. but considering Girardi made the decision to make Bobby Meacham (probably the dumbest Yankee of all time) the 3rd base coach, I am not surprised.
Bob
Shhhh! Criticism of Girardi is not allowed. Barton will be here to enforce that rule shortly.
JonEJet
I think that was Mussina's call Obviously should have walked him, but that was Moose's fault Moose pitched well otherwise

Jon is dead on, it was Mike's call to stay in. Girardi went out there and showed confidence in Moose. Should have walked him, but whatever. Showing confidence in your starting pitcher isnt a bad thing-especially when he's pitching pretty darn well. Torre would have had some scrub pitching in the 5th.
