I haven't been up there in a few years so I'm beyond excited. Grant is going to be in complete awe when he sees that sea of red for the first time. GO BIG RED!! I'm hoping that the child protective services people get tipped off before hand. How dare you subject your child to that kind of garbage football. BTW What county do you live in Kansas ? Alk Posted September 15, 2008 Author Share Posted September 15, 2008 We survived the day and what a day it was. A ton of walking. I bet we were parked a good mile from the stadium. That was about all my son could take. I teared up a little as I watched him step into the sea of red for the first time. It made me think how my grandparents must have felt the first time they took me to my first Husker game. The game itself was alot of fun...the three and a half hour drive however wasn't. I snapped a few pictures from the game. I really wish I would have brought my wife's camera but I didn't trust myself carrying that thing in a stadium of 85,00 people.
