Scott Dierking Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 It is pointless to compare between teh dirfferent periods, because they are all punctuated by different developments that lent to different stats- -Dead ball era -Lowering of teh mound -Steroids -New, smaller parks -Changes in the ball itself -DH Among others.
