BwanaZulia
If JW had bought a Mac on Monday, he'd have had to replace the logic board by now. Right, GG? But at least the machine would freeze up for no apparent reason when the logic board was "working." I'm saddled with a Mac at work. They're crap. So one computer with a problem makes the entire line bad? The must make Dell look like a freaking crapland and Hateway look like tonka toys. The fact is that Apple computers have always had the highest levels of service and support. Add to that they are easier to run, operate, update, that they are safer, better designed and more useful and well, you have a great set of computers. BwanaZulia
http://www.macminute.com/2005/08/25/pcmag-readers-choice-awards/ Apple wins PC Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards again August 25, 2005 - 17:03 EDT Apple once again came out on top in PC Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards, notes Macworld UK. "Apple achieves scores that are far and away the highest for all vendors in our survey, earning Readers' Choices in both desktops and notebooks," the magazine says "For Apple, in both the desktop and notebook sections of the survey, every single score is significantly better than the industry average for Windows machines. No exceptions. Apple's overall score for desktops is 9.2, and the closest competing score, Alienware's, is 8.8. Apple's overall score for notebooks, 9.2, is just as high." Hmmmm.... Sounds just like I was saying. BZ
