hoping4ASuperBowl
49ers hired former Jets RBs coach Jimmy Raye as their new offensive coordinator, according to NFL.com's Adam Schefter. The Niners picked Raye over Hue Jackson, who appeared the favorite as recently as Wednesday night. Raye has been an NFL coach for 29 seasons and offers 11 years of coordinator experience. He was last OC of the Raiders, whose offenses ranked 17th (2004) and 21st (2005). It's difficult to say exactly what type of attack Raye will run, but we fully expect it to be run heavy. NIGHT STALKER
Jimmy Raye should write a book based on the things he saw here as an assistant coach. You mean like a "tell all book?"...no one writes those kinds of books in sports do they anymore?
