THE ILK
You did great here, and it's hard to see you go, but it had to be done! Best of luck!!! PS083xGHcSU

visajets
Agreed----------- But his unwillingness to sign a contract and not get greedy cost him more than anyone knows. Ultimately he was injured and now hes just another RB that played for the JETS. When we hoist the Lombardi Trophy he can enjoy watching.

neckdemon
anyway....yeah good luck leon. he was easily one of my favorite jets while he was here. it's just too bad he didn't sign that contract and that he wound up getting hurt. i seriously hope he returns to full health and is successful for the remainder of his career. talisaynon
Leon was a light at the proverbial tunnel. 2006, 2007 when we knew deep down we were not good enough to compete Leon was there to be the spark we sorely needed and kept us optimistic. In some ways it's comforting knowing that he now is not a necessary component to our success: we can now build on our strengths- defense, stopping the run, stopping the pass, offense, running the ball, Y2 Sanchez- and not have to rely on check downs to Leon to produce our offense. We're moving on. Leon's represents the optimism of what could be, and we leave him behind knowing he's not needed anymore.
