Jetfire
I coached and lost my first playoff game as a football coach on Saturday afternoon. We outplayed the team and gave up less than 100 yds total offense. I've watched my father die in front of me and losing this game was very similar to that experience. JoeC36
I haven't been in either situation, and I'm sorry for both your loses, but if losing a football game equates to watching your father die, I think you may be taking the game too seriously

#27TheDominator
I was all set to "like" that post when I read the thread title. Doesn't seem proper under the circumstances. Good luck next year.

Thanks! I've coached pee-wee, midget, junior high, and high school. The team I coach now is on the midget level. I guess i took it so hard because we were the better team and a bad snap cost us the game.
Scott Dierking
Thanks! I've coached pee-wee, midget, junior high, and high school. The team I coach now is on the midget level. I guess i took it so hard because we were the better team and a bad snap cost us the game. If you have coached at a High school level, and losing a Pee Wee game affects you this deeply, I would suggest your priorities are skewed.
#27TheDominator
I loved coaching pee wees! Those little monsters loved me, but I think I was a little too "loose" for the other coaches.

You probably shouldnt have been offering them the opportunity to pork you after every practice.
